Where we work and when

Most of our work is in and around the city itself, from the mill villages near Uptown to the newer streets off Highway 25. We work across Greenwood County and the nearby Lakelands towns, from Ninety Six and Hodges to Abbeville, Ware Shoals and Saluda. Each one has its own page in the full town list.

Storms change the order of things. Greenwood County is covered by the National Weather Service office in Greenville-Spartanburg, and when that office issues a severe thunderstorm, ice storm or tropical warning, messages tend to arrive in a rush. We sort them by danger: a tree on a roof or across the only way out of a driveway comes before limbs in a back pasture.

If a tree or limb is touching a power line, keep everyone well away from it and report it to your power company first. Once the line is safe, we can deal with the tree.
