Towns we cover
Greenwood is home base, from the older streets around Uptown and Lander University out to the subdivisions along Bypass 72 and Highway 25.
Ninety Six sits east of Greenwood, on the way toward the lake. Coronaca is northeast, out toward the Lake Greenwood shoreline. Saluda is farther east, past Ninety Six, and is the longest drive on the list.
Hodges is north, up Highway 25, and Cokesbury is a few miles beyond it. Ware Shoals is north as well, where the Saluda River runs along the county's upper edge. Donalds is north and a little west, past Hodges toward the Anderson County side.
Due West is northwest, across the Abbeville County line, and Abbeville itself is due west, the county seat next door. Bradley is southwest in the farm and timber country, and Troy is south, below Greenwood among the pine tracts.
How far we go
None of these towns is a long trip from Greenwood. The closest, like Coronaca, Hodges and Ninety Six, are a short run out of the city, and the far end of the list still makes an easy day for a removal or a full cleanup. We work across Greenwood County and the nearby Lakelands towns, from Ninety Six and Hodges to Abbeville, Ware Shoals and Saluda. If your road is not named here but runs between two of these towns, send the form anyway; most country addresses in between are covered.
Distance matters most after a storm. When a line of thunderstorms or a tropical remnant crosses the Lakelands, messages come in from every direction at once, and we work them by danger first: trees on houses and blocked driveways before limbs in the back yard. Outside of storms, the five kinds of tree work we do are available in every town on the list.
